| I have now tried Innovate LM1 and LC1, FJO dual channel and PLX 500. Innovate LM1 - $590 (single sensor) LC1 - $180 The LM1 is a great unit - big and bulky but perfect for tuning customer cars. With the Aux box you can log other sensors. I used it only to run RPM vs wb. Inovate apparently is the only one that is purely digital thus its supposed to be highly accurate and has a super high refresh rate. My experience is that when the sensor is new it works AWESOME but when the sensor gets slightly old the increase "jitter" makes the graphs hard to figure out. Also the tail pipe adapter is absolutely worthless. LC1 was used with a the laptop only and had similar results as above PLX 500 -$550 (single sensor) PLX 500 - software is hard to use. the controller is fairly accurate and has relatively smooth graphs but i really want dual channel control. PLX does not support that :(
FJO - $750 ( with 2 bosch sensors ) FJO dual channel controller - This setup is about as close to perfect as you can get. This is what i like
1. Simple software. Lets you have both channels on the same graph in real time. Very easy to see if there is a difference between cly banks. This is a BIG thing for me since most Z's i get have a imbalance issue for one reason or another. 2. Very accurate controller 3. Supports both NTK and Bosch sensors - BIG BIG benifit. If you run race gas get the NTK sensors they do not break . Bosch sensors die easily with leaded fuel and get funky after 5 - 10 gallons of leaded fuel 4. Can hook up a display to show leanest bank. I tune a lot of different cars and the FJO seemed o work the best so far. I have no dealerships for any of these so i have no vested interest. If you add up everything you are getting the FJO is still good value for money, even though its quite pricey IMO. Hope this helps Harry
